Coleman Modulus X4 (4 man) tent review

The Coleman Modulus x4 (4 man) tent is, as the name suggests, all about versatility. The centre living area has sleeping areas on both sides but in a novel twist, one side can be removed to leave you with a versatile two-man tent for those trips here you maybe leave the kids at home. Perfect for when the whole family might go one weekend and then dad slopes off mountain biking alone the next.

User Reviews
People who have bought this tent praise its adaptability, making it 2 tents for the price of one. A roomy 4-man or 2-man tent – the choice is up to the owner. They also noted clever features like a water channel that directs water away from the tent. The airflow system was also highlighted as effective on hot days.

One of the main characteristics that people appreciated was the stand-up height in the living area. This is an important feature for anyone camping more than a few days – your back will thank you! People also praised the number of inside pockets and pouches to help keep everything tidy.

The only repeated user criticism (and it is a common one for many tents) is that the instructions are a little sparse. Our advice is to do a practise pitch at home before heading for the great outdoors.
